About: I'm Saadatu Sulaiman, a Registered Nutrition Officer from Kano State, Nigeria. I have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and MSc in Public Health Nutrition and Policy from Bayero University Kano State, Nigeria. I am Currently pursuing GLOBAL FOOD SECURITY AND NUTRITION at the University of Edinburgh. My educational journey began at Police Children School, Port Harcourt, and continued at Police Girls Secondary School, Shanono, Kano. I am the Founder and CEO of MyDiata, a digital nutrition platform dedicated to improving health through nutrition education and personalized support. MyDiata provides expert-driven guidance and sells nutritious food products, easy-to-follow eBooks, and recipe guides, helping individuals make informed food choices for better well-being. In my role as a Higher Nutrition Officer at the Kano State Primary Healthcare Management Board, I coordinate state-level nutrition activities, supervise focal persons, and contribute to Annual Operational Plans. I'm also a part-time lecturer at Emirate College of Health Science and Technology, Kano. As the current Vice Chairman of the Nutrition Society of Nigeria (NSN) Kano State Chapter and Assistant Organizing Secretary at the Institute for Dietetics in Nigeria (IDN) Kano State Chapter, I have lead initiatives such as World Breastfeeding Week, National Nutrition Month, and Nutrition Debates & Quiz Competition. My involvement in projects like the Nigeria Sodium Study, MIYCNIP, and the Pathway Project reflects my enthusiasm for research. Additionally, I've facilitated training for The Wellbeing Foundation, ADFIN, Nutrition International Kano State, A360 and Gold Dietary and Wellness Clinic. I am Fluent in Hausa and English, and I possess strong communication skills and proficiency in computer.
