A free computer application has now been released to enable clinicians and researchers to determine, simply and quickly, centiles and z scores at birth for weight, head circumference and length using the INTERGROWTH-21st Newborn Size at Birth standards.

In August 2015 the App was launched for use on Windows operating systems (available here). Versions for Apple and mobile applications will be coming soon.

To use the app, simply enter the gestational age at birth and sex, with the measurements for birthweight or head circumference or length. The App quickly produces centiles and z scores and plots the measurements compared to the INTERGROWTH-21st Standards. Large datasets can also be easily uploaded for batch calculation of centiles and z scores.
