BBC 4 recently featured the INTERGROWTH-21st Project in an excellent documentary on the subject of eugenics.
The clip (available to watch above) appeared at the end of the two-part programme, which focused on the history of eugenics and the extent to which race was still being used as a factor in scientific studies.
In the documentary, Dr Michelle Fernandes and Professor Stephen Kennedy highlight the INTER-NDA results, published in Nature Communications this year.
Professor Stephen Kennedy discusses that the findings suggest “Neurodevelopmental outcomes across INTERGROWTH-21st sites were similar irrespective of skin colour which is at odds with eugenic theories”.
